“Icônes” is a performance from Collectif Boxon Sentimental, a franco-finnish company directed by Carmen Kautto. The performance paints the last 100 years of Russian history; from the October revolution through Soviet times into the current day. The performance speaks of the cultural, religious and personal icons through a selection of texts from Russian literature dramatised by Kautto.
Premier: July 2018 at Théâtre de Ménilmontant, Paris (demos since 2017, project continues in 2020)
